Week Four

It is week four of the diet....(I think). The diet is going good; this weekend was a little bad. Chinese buffet (no noodles or sweets, just meat with sauces and some sweet and sour pork), low-carb noodles (should not have very often), and a breakfast burrito from The Greek Cafe (burrito shells are not the best). Today we did lots of grocery shopping; we did ads/coupons so we ended up at three separate stores. I think that helped burn some of the bad calories. Tomorrow we are planning on doing some packing and going to the gym so that should help set us get back on track.

I know that I need to stick with this diet; I am much happier and it is rubbing off on the rest of life. I have been happier at work and at home. I just hope I can continue to feel this way.

So far on the diet I have gone from 349 lb to 333.7 lb, that's a total of about 15.3 lb. I think the gym has been a big help. The other day I burned like 900 calories. That's a whole meal and then some. I don't go as often as I should but I know it is what will make or break a diet. Generally during a normal weekday I have a breakfast shake for breakfast and for lunch I have leftovers from the night before. Generally this is a small portion. I figure I have been consuming under 600 calories for these two meals. So if I go to the gym I can actually be at a negative calorie consummation by dinner.

  2. Glad you are blogging! Seems like a weird concept at first, but it has really helped me to stay focused and accountable. I will check back often.
